My name is Eva Stern, and I believe movement practice sparks our creativity.

Through a blend of my background as a musician, a Franklin Method Educator and a Pilates teacher, I help musicians and creative people feel more mobile, aware and strong so they feel inspired to create to their fullest potential.

As a musician myself, I get it because I do it too.

You work your body really hard.

You play for long periods of time in a high pressure environment.

You need your body to work so you can make the sounds you want to make.

What is Forte Movement? It’s my system of teaching movement for musicians based on:

-My years of experience as a violist in orchestral, chamber music and academic settings.

-My years of experience with aches and pains, tightness and anxiety from above musical experience.

-My experience as a comprehensively trained Pilates teacher, Franklin Method Educator and Roll Model® Method practitioner.

-My love of teaching and all things movement tinkering.
